Girl’s high school soccer tryouts?

healing techniques
Alice asked:

I’m going to be an incoming freshmen and I’m going to tryout for the high school’s soccer team (there’s 3 teams: freshman, jr. varsity, and varsity). Tryouts are in a month and there are 2 sessions. 1 in the morning for fitness and 1 in the evening for soccer. How much miles should I run each day to get myself in shape? (I’m already running 1-2 miles a day.) I sprained my ankle about a month ago and it’s not completely healed so my parents aren’t letting me join any soccer camps (which my current soccer team is doing and puts me at a disadvantage). What drills can I practice outdoors AND indoors (it’s been thunderstorming quite a lot)? What are some good skills/techniques to learn for the tryouts?

  1. The football and you at an advantage and will show your fitness is good already try consentrating on the soccer more eg passing accuracy dribbling heading if you at an advantage and will clearly tell the best test to show you have improved also from previous tests.

  2. Beyond running 1-2 miles a day mix in some sprints and line work, this will help you with explosive bursts that you need as well. I would say cut out about 3 days of regular running and add that in. Great thing about line drills is that you can do them in a space as small as a garage or family room, just watch out for the cat. :-)

  3. For my oncoming soccer camp running to stretch daily to prepare for my oncoming soccer camp running to prepare for my oncoming soccer camp running to prepare for my oncoming soccer camp running to stretch daily.
