Injury Healing. Now I need help?

Ok I’m 15 male and playing in high school soccer and for the past year now i think i might have fracture my left hamstring. So now i’m waiting or about a week until i can heal it. but when done i want to start training to get faster. For some reason when i’m bare footed running on grass playing soccer i’m really fast but when i put shoes or cleats on i’m alittle slower… so what are some techniques i can do to get/run faster without going to tracks or parks because my parents are busy to take me to places to even do that so what are some other drills i can do to improve my speed

Running technique?

cafeplanete asked:

I love to run but always end up screwing up my knees. I have seen a doctor, and he told me that I pronate and needed special shoes, but even special shoes haven’t help me avoid injury.
My question is about proper running technique. I have done some research on the web, but I’ve come up with someconflicting information. One site suggests that when I run, I land on the heal of my foot and roll to the center and then spring forward on the balls. I think that landing on the heal of my foot is what might be hurting my knees.
I found another site that suggest the heels should altogether be avoided, and that proper technique involves landing on the balls and rolling to the center only. I did this yesterday and it seemed to work nicely. It felt right, and I seemed to be able to run much further without wearing myself down as much as I normally do. Does anyone know if the second technique is correct, or have any helpful suggestions? thanks
