Exercise techniques (small and simple but worthwhile)?

healing techniques
DeepTranslation09 asked:

Im wondering– what are some exercises I can do while watching tv? Something that doesnt require a lot of effort or space but that will be of some good? For example: I normally wear heals while Im walking around at work all day and when I come home and watch a lil tv or movie, I will flex my calves and move my leg around in small circles, with my foot pointed up.
I will also lay on my back and pull myself up with my stomach (usually during commerical breaks haha)
and I like to take 10 minutes in between shows to turn on some good hip hop songs and dance to them..
It seems like little dumb things..but I think they help to keep my body movin throughout the day.
Any suggestions to add to this? Also..I’d like a more defined collarbone, rounder calves, and a tighter tummy/inside thighs. I have a nice round ass but I would like more definition between my back and my butt. Any suggestions? Mine kinda goes straight down. I would love to have this curve f:http://www.latinopundit.com/latino/lati
I know thats J Lo Lol! But I’d like that kind of definition!
…& i love her clavicle:

Healing my right wrist (strengthening)?

healing techniques
Ryan LeE asked:

Hello, my name is Ryan. I was wondering if I could get some techniques on how to help me get rid of my wrist pain. It is just my right wrist, and i think it might be from computer/ xbox gaming. I use to distort my index finger (stretch in an unatural position) while I played xbox. I think this make have messed up my entire hand. It is significantly weaker than my left, the fingers are less flexible, and I cant bend them in the same ways as my left hand. Also, it’s hard to make a fist. I will hear strange popping noises when moving certain fingers, too. So if you have any ideas what this is, or exercises to strengthen the wrists/tendons/fingers, please answer/let me know.
Thank you so much for your time,
Sincerely
Ryan
P.S I’m 16

Proper Healing Techniques for Belly Button Piercings?

healing technique
xtiNa * asked:

5 days ago I got my belly button pierced and I’ve been curious as to what to do for cleaning and to prevent infections. The top part is a bit red. So far I’ve been washing it twice a day with non-scented soap and I bought an antiseptic spray. People say put polysporin on it but I’m curious to what it actually does. If you could answer me back throughly ASAP I’ll give the best answer 10 pts :)
Thanks guys

Did Jesus learn Druidism while roaming in his 21 years?

healing techniques
Marlevane (High Priest/Druid) asked:

If there was an unknown time period in his life, it was suggested that he traveled and learned from Druid mysteries. This would also answer how he performed his magic (mysterious ways), how he was a leader of his 12 disciples (a coven?) and how he was learned of healing techniques, in the ways of herbals. He was said to travel to India as well. Maybe he learned Reiki Healing while there too?
The 12+1 to make a coven was an inside pagan joke, not referring to Druidism. I understand about the relevance to the Celts and their sacred number 3. The part about traveling to India, wasn’t related to the actual question and or related to the Celts.
Thank you tx, I would love to be a paid writer.
But right now I am a computer tech, seeking degrees in a technical college.

I have studied, paganism, wicca, druidry and other similar paths for over 8 years. I figured this question would get a rise out of people.

I am not really that nieve. But I have hearn speculation that he had traveled to various places.

Is this story legit ‘Study on Prayer reveals correlation’?

healing techniques
Blue, Mr asked:

Scroll down to ‘Early research’ I’ve pasted what it says below

Early research

Cardiologist Randolph Byrd did the first major clinical study on distant healing at San Francisco General Hospital in 1988. He divided 393 heart patients into two groups.

One group received prayers from Christians outside the hospital; the other did not. His study, published in the Southern Medical Journal, found that the patients who were not prayed for needed more medication and were more likely to suffer complications. While it had flaws, the study garnered considerable attention.

Since then investigators have continued to look at the possible effects of remote prayer and similar distant healing techniques in the treatment of heart disease, AIDS and other illnesses as well as infertility. Numerous experiments involving prayer and distant healing have also been done involving animals and plants. One such study found that healers can increase the healing rate of wounds in mice.

“Critics often complain that if you see positive results in humans it is because of positive thinking, or the placebo response,” said Dr. Larry Dossey, a retired internist in Santa Fe, N.M., and author of numerous books on spirituality and healing. “Microbes don’t think positively, and are not subject to the placebo response.”

In the early ’90s, Elisabeth Targ and colleagues at the California Pacific Medical Center studied the effects of distant healing on 20 AIDS patients. Schlitz, who worked with Targ (who died of a brain tumor in 2002), said the study found those receiving prayer survived in greater numbers, got sick less often and recovered faster than those who did not. A follow-up study of 40 patients found similar results.

At about the same time, Duke University’s Krucoff was leading a small but unusual experiment to determine if cardiac patients would recover faster after angioplasty surgery if they received any of several intangible (noetic) treatments. His study compared the results of healing touch, stress relaxation and distant healing with standard care.

Spiritual healers from around the world – including Jews leaving prayers at the Western Wall in Jerusalem, Buddhists praying in monasteries in Nepal and France, Carmelite nuns in Baltimore offering prayers during vespers, and Moravians, Baptists and fundamental Christians praying during church – each simultaneously prayed for one of several designated groups in the study.

All of the groups did better than the standard care group, with those receiving distant prayers doing best. He has since completed a larger, multi-site study. That study – the largest to date – is currently under review for publication in a medical journal.

Odd because when I tried to find some of this research myself all I found was http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=duke+university+study+prayer&btnG=Search

Is otitis reversable/curable using natural tropical products or Pranic Healing/Sanjeevini techniques?

healing technique
pmkrex asked:

I live at longitude 116 East, where fruits/spices are plentiful
(designed drugs are expensive and not easily obtainable).

My 8 yr old rottweiler has Otitis (nodules in ear flap now quite hard)
and he won’t let me put any form of spray into his ear. As possible
alternative I want to try a herbal course of Angelica keiskei koidzumi
(Hachi-Jo variety, grown here - I have easy access) as an additive to
normal meals, (form of Transfer Factor ?), but I have been told
(a friend knows a Botany expert) this is carcinogenic.
(Research findings show the opposite ? – cancer inhibiter)

Previously, I have myself used the liquid chalcone on open
leg wounds (and drunk the tea).

Can someone pl say if using Angelica could be effective and/or
prescribe other appropriate naturally occurring ingredients to combat
– hopefully reverse – the Otitis, and found in what fruits/vegies.
(native to Indonesia).
Also advise on cancer aspect.
Pl also comment on Pranic Healing/Sanjeevini – are there any
known case studies with dogs - which I am also considering.

All recommendations/advise gratefully received.
Many thanks,

Pete.Lbk
